Cupcake Monster

Shortly after drawing the tea monster, I went to a cake shop. So the cupcake monster was born.
Collection of odd people, and a Tyrannosaurus Dex.

Did you know? There were no dinosaur geeks in prehistoric times. Any dinosaur seen to have an interest in things considered geeky were immediately killed and eaten. Dinosaur geek was a rare but fine delicacy.

Algebra with chairs

It's a question we have all thought about. How come a seat with legs is called a chair? Great mystery, I know....
Also, I was sitting in a tea shop when I drew the tea drinking monster. He purtty...

Did you know? A new species of peaceful animals were discovered in Eastern parts of the United Kingdom? They resemble cushions and were unfortunately wiped out to extinction by very tired and surprisingly heavy scientists.

I made a story for all of them! Yay!

Again, I have no idea what is going on on this page. I guess... well, the first woman is very disappointed that the big boobed lady has crashed her party. Square-jaw is there to protect her, especially from the horrible big nose bow tie man, who is also an inventor and discovered eggs.
Below him are two women, who are food critics and like to play croquet in the park on Sundays. Also shown here are....uh... Billy and his cat, Beans. Yeah, that's their names.
And the potato manager as well. He manages potatoes.

What is going on here?

Movember Part 3!! Moustaches galore!!

And the final moments of the moustache month! Hail Movember!
Okay, the last couple of characters don't have moustaches, but that's because they were drawn in December.

All rainbows have moustaches. You have to look really, really carefully to see them.

Continuing with the moustache theme. I think I spent too much effort on getting pictures of facial hair, and not enough on getting a good drawing. Oh well.

Movember Part 1

5th to 10th of November.
It was a whole 'Movember' thing. Draw a doodle a day, but with moustaches. Most of these were drawn on the bus to work, so they may be a bit shaky

Honestly, I have no idea why I draw the things I draw. What is going on with the woman in the middle? And the ugly baby?

Back to some faces now, not a lot though.
Some of these haven't worked very well at all...

21st August drawings...

Okay, back to simply posting depending on date of drawing. Here we are on... 21st August, so I'll move on from here.
I believe the first couple of drawings were done whilst my girlfriend was roller skating, so I tried to draw them with skating helmets. I failed miserably, so stopped after those two. oh well. Not a great page, but this is all about showing development, so enjoy!

Here is two pages at once, because the second was quick caricatures of real people, drawn as concepts for an actual animation. Link to follow once it is available online.

I've noticed the dates of these are a little skewy. I will wait until I have finished with the faerie life drawing before I get back on track!

Moving through the pages slowly but surely. To be honest, I think there are more on the older pages that I like than on the newer ones. Isn't that odd?

Drawings, and a recap of Derren Brown

Didn't get a chance to update yesterday, so consider this a present today. Two pages in one! This is a nice colourful page, mainly because the colours were available to me.

Oh, I like the guy on the bottom of this picture! RAWR! CUP OF TEA!!!

Last night was the first part of Derren Brown's Apocolypse. I must say, it was amazing television!  It was like the Truman Show, but with zombies. The emotion displayed was so real that I think all television should be filmed like this from now on. One real person surrounded by actors, and the protagonist will react naturally as it progresses. Or, perhaps we could use all actors and create real zombies genetically, see how the actors handle the situation.

I should write pitches for television shows...
