I keep running out of time to focus on the head. Or, maybe it's intentional??? oooooh..... artistic.....

2013!!!

Happy 2013! Okay, so I haven't uploaded over the christmas period. Can you blame me? Between Christmas at mine, my parents and my partners parents, plus about four to five roast dinners, the past few weeks were a combination of business, happy food-filling times and lots of presents. So, not a lot of time to update my blog. Going back to where I left off, naked women! From the 9th November, 2011. Wow. Long time ago. Shocking....

Back to life drawing! Movember isn't over, but the doodle a day is!
My uploads are getting sparse. My bad....

Christmas is coming though! Sure, our christmas lights have blown and the door of the oven has fallen off, but less than a week til christmas.

On another note, our oven has been replaced and new lights are on the tree. Everything is better than new! Or, more accurately, everything is simply new.

Her body gets smaller as she goes up (or does it get bigger as she goes down?) and her foot is a little ... yeah. But it's not that bad...

I am about to make a cup of tea, apparently...

More life drawing, all from the 7th September.
Here, the woman is saying: "Yeah, I'm naked. What of it? Go make me a cup of tea..."

Actually, that last thing is actually being said by my girlfriend right now, who is nudging my waist with her empty cup....

7th September Back to life drawing for a while

Here we go back to some lifedrawing for a while. Now here we are in September, and I just started a new life drawing class, meaning I won't have any of the old classes anymore. So no more 'life drawing with a difference'...

Final life drawing of faeries

I've uploaded two at once here, the last two life drawings of this session, mainly because the first drawing isn't that great.
Story next? Um, let's see...

Two faeries are fighting over a baby, because the want to eat it (apparently what faeries used to do). Eventually, all the fighting proved exhausting so they all had a sleep.

Personally, I don't like the first picture. The second one is kind of nice, but there is no weight in the figures on the first. It doesn't look like they are pulling at each other at all, just kind of standing there. I can't remember if the models were actually pulling at the time or not...

Life Drawing Faeries again

Here, a faerie is saying "Where did I put my new iPad? Did I leave it over this wall?" Then she leans over the wall, with her knee up, and says "Ah, there it is! Over there, in that field..."

Another faerie.
Here, the faerie has found a penny on the floor. He is homeless and broke and cannot even afford clothes, so naturally he bends down to pick it up.

I liked the shadow cast by this pose, but failed in getting it to look right....

29th August Life Drawing

29th August. Abit sketchy - Life Drawing with a difference.

The next few life drawing pages will be 'faerie' themed. Basically, all models had body paint and huge wings, and at one point they fight over a baby to eat. Then they get tired and sleep. You'll see.

This story begins with a woman, who lies on her bed and thinks "Why must I be the model? Why can't I be a truck driver instead?"
Sorry love, wings don't fit in a truck. Now stop moving so I can draw you....
